DSI was selected as the general contractor for the 711 Jorie Blvd. project in Oak Brook through a negotiated bid process. This transformative exterior and interior renovation was part of the multi-tenant market repositioning of the 175,000 SF Class-A office building asset.
The building exterior received a complete facelift by adding a new facade and all new windows. This significant alteration modernized the building, and a new canopy was added, creating a more defined point of entry. Additionally, surface-level parking was also a priority for the project. A new parking lot, with retaining walls, permeable pavers, and landscaping, was added to the north of the building, while the existing parking lot was resurfaced.
Interior changes for the Class-A office building included a 2nd floor deck, that created a modern two-story lobby. The balance of the building was updated with modernized finishes throughout for a consistently fresh look. Lastly, a second entrance was added off of 22nd Street.
This project was completed to the client’s complete satisfaction.
