When the WTC I, LLC, the owner of a four-acre parcel of property executed a 25,000 square foot build-to-suit office lease with Rasmussen College for its new Romeoville, Illinois campus, they retained Development Solutions, Inc. (DSI) to provide build-to-suit construction services. DSI’s responsibilities included pre-construction pricing and scheduling as well as coordination of the architectural, civil and MEP engineering drawings.
DSI worked closely with the owner and Rasmussen to value-engineer various components of the project to ensure that the project cost stayed within strict lease parameters. DSI completed the project within the designated schedule, allowing students to begin classes on time the following spring semester.
