Development Solutions, Inc., was selected to renovate The Shuman’s primary common areas through a negotiated bid process.
The 35,000 SF project consisted of a redesign of the building entrance, lobby and atrium, that leads down to an activated lower level featuring a barista bar, a market-style deli, state of the art fitness center, co-working lounges, and other amenities more typical of a Chicago high-rise than the surrounding suburban offices. These added conveniences were strategic, creating an amplified experience for tenants and their clients.
The Shuman delivers a unique dining experience featuring both hot and cold options, a grill station, 24-hour cashless grab'n'o and Food Work, which offers a rotating scene of Chicagoland restaurants, providing the tenants endless variety.
